Caller School 2024 – April 12 ~ 14, 2024 – Ingersoll, ON.

This was an excellent school. All Students did a fabulous job!!

Thanks to all who participated at the school and also to the dancers that came to the student dance on Saturday night! The student callers really appreciated your support and enthusiasm!!

Location: St. Thomas Church in Cambridge, Ontario.

Subject: The Basics of Square Dance Calling.

Experience:  0-1 year

Cost: $45.00 per student-partners free and encouraged to attend!

What a great Session this was.  7 new callers joined us and we had a great time.

Creative Choreograph – Sponsored by SWOSDA Caller Clinic

All Callers welcome – November 10, 2013 – 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Richards Memorial Church – 360 Edgeworth Ave.,  London, ON

This session will look at the aspect of Creative Choreography.  We will satisfy several skill levels by working within multiple dance programs.

If you are interested in getting some ideas on how to be creative in your calling without being difficult join us at this session.

This will be a hands on session!  There are no right or wrong answers – this is “creative”

You will learn how the thought process works to be “different not difficult”

All callers attending will have the opportunity to participate if they wish.

Join us and have some fun being creative!

6: what wind in your face dancing means

7: what lead time means and its importance to a caller

The Ins & Outs of Sight Calling – Sponsored by SWOSDA Caller Clinic.

All Callers welcome – January 13, 2013 – 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.

This session will delve into the strategy and guiding principles of Sight Calling and will satisfy many different skill levels.

If you are using this method of calling,this session will help you enhance your skill by showing you things you may not have considered before.

If you are not using this method of calling, this session will show you how to develope this skill and use it to enhance your regular calling program.

Partners are encouraged to attend as this session will be designed with lots of Mic time for each participant, so dancers will be required.

Come and Join us – All Callers are welcome!  You do not have to be a member of SWOSDA to attend!
